Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Reginald W. Brown in Durban, SA. Pendleton has received Brown’s letter of Oct. 25th with enclosures. Pendleton agrees with Brown in his hope and expectation that the Academy will continue to grow; This year they have a total of 237 students. Pendleton will be glad to have Brown back at the Academy, and he wonders where Brown got the idea that there was not enthusiasm for his return. Pendleton reports that theological student George Mokoena has made great progress this year and has potential to become a minister of unusual intelligence if he studies with them for three full years, but it seems this may not be possible. Pendleton presumes by this time Augusta has joined Brown in Durban. Names mentioned: Theo (Pitcairn), George Mokoena, Mr. Acton, Augusta (Pendleton)
