Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Hendrik W. Boef in Los Angeles, CA, USA. Pendleton has received Boef’s letter of Nov. 8th (archivist's note: inconsistency in the dates). Pendleton feels Boef is mistaken about the circumstances under which a minister may be authorized to exceed the powers of the degree into which he has been ordained.
