Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Hendrik W. Boef in Los Angeles, CA, USA. Pendleton has received Boef’s letter of Oct. 10th. There has been serious concern over Boef’s health, but it now seems he will recover. While in Pittsburgh, Pendleton took the liberty of discussing Boef’s health with Mr. Marlin Heilman. Heilman believed Boef would recover, but that he would have to take responsibility for his own recovery and follow a strict diet, etc. Pendleton was delighted to hear Boef’s impression of the Los Angeles Circle; Pendleton anticipates they will be receptive to Boef and that he will enjoy leading them spiritually. As the circle has now organized into an official society, Pendleton requests that the secretary send him formal notice and apply for Episcopal recognition. g
