Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Albert Bjorck, 2036-03-19
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Albert Bjorck. Pendleton is touched by Bjorck’s reference to his age and his willingness to be passive, not saying anything else about the state of the church for the rest of his life. However, it is Pendleton duty to prevent the spread of disturbances in the church, and if Bjorck does not recall his letter, the disturbance which it has caused with increase until it is Church-wide. Therefore, Bjorck must recall his letter. Pendleton writes that if, in addition, Bjorck expresses regret, “it will be taken as evidence of a spirit of charity.”
