Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Albert Bjorck, 1936-02-20
Scope and Contents
Handwritten letter in pencil from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Albert Bjorck. Pendleton has received the copy of Bjorck’s letter to Bishop DeCharms that Bjorck forwarded to him. Pendleton considers the letter an open attack upon the General Church, which indicates Bjorck’s separation from the Church. If this was not his intention, Pendleton asks that he recall all the copies of the letter he sent out. Pendleton writes, “The question between us now is not a difference of doctrinal interpretation, but of Charity to the Church.”
