Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Albert Bjorck, 1928-04-30
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Albert Bjorck in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Pendleton has received Bjorck’s letters of March 25th and April 14th with enclosed letter from Mr. Andersen to Bjorck. Pendleton is not surprised about Anderson’s attitude: How could they expect him to fully understand the General Church view on the Writings when he has done most of his study by himself? However, Pendleton thinks some of Anderson’s present attitude towards the General Church may be influenced by recent letters to him by gentlemen of Conference and Convention. Pendleton does not think Andersen will change his mind because of his age, and he thinks the Spain is “probably the least open of all European countries to New Church propaganda” anyway. Names mentioned: Mr. Andersen, Sir Robert Jones
