Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Albert Bjorck, 1925-01-09
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Albert Bjorck in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Pendleton has received Bjorck’s letter of Dec. 10th with enclosed photos. With Bjorck leaving for Spain and Mr. Ottley’s death, the Church in England is “sadly depleted”; Mr. Tilson and Mr. Gyllenhaal have both been affected by the change. In Bryn Athyn, George DeCharms has been ill for the past two months. He hopes to travel to Florida soon and stay for the rest of the winter to restore his health. The February meetings are approaching, and Mr. Caldwell has agreed to take on De Charms’ secretarial duties. They are hoping to have Mr. Gyllenhaal from England attend, as well as Mr. Heinrichs from Denver who will be ordained into the second pastoral degree. Names mentioned: Mr. Ottley, Mr. Tilson, Mr. Gyllenhaal, George DeCharms, Mr. Caldwell, Mr. Heinrichs, Mrs. (Beatrice) Pendleton, and Mrs. Bjorck
