Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Albert Bjorck, 1923-09-19
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Albert Bjorck in Fordingbridge, England. Pendleton was sorry to learn in Bjorck’s letter of August 11th that his health has not been improving as rapidly as hoped; Pendleton hopes Bjorck’s trip to Span will prove beneficial. Pendleton is encouraged by Bjorck’s report of the recent British Assembly. Pendleton finds Bjorck’s paper interesting and thinks it will appeal to the spiritually reflective; Mr. Caldwell agrees and will publish it in in the Life. In Bryn Athyn, they are preparing for school opening, with a smaller school than in past years. Pendleton reports that Mr. Potts, the “staunch old New Churchman”, has passed away; This is a blessing to him and his family as he has been “as unconscious and as helpless as an infant” for the last four years.
