Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Albert Bjorck, 1922-06-27
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Albert Bjorck in Bath, England. Pendleton acknowledges Bjorck’s letter of June 5th which he put off answering until the Executive Committee could meet. Pendleton thinks that Mr. Alden has by now informed Bjorck of the Committee’s decision; In an effort to reduce expenses, they have proposed that the Church members in England should provide the money which the Church previously paid Bjorck. Pendleton notes with interest Bjorck’s idea for a publication called the “New Church Standard”. Pendleton thinks that the Church in England could benefit from a publication like this, and he is glad to hear that Mr. Theodore Pitcairn has expressed his interest in supporting it. Pendleton is looking forward to a quiet summer at home in Bryn Athyn, and he send regards to Mrs. Bjorck.
