Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary, Freda Pendleton, to Rev. Gerrit Barger in the Hague, Holland. The Bishop has asked F. Pendleton to acknowledge receipt of Barger’s letters of August 21st and 22nd. Having been on the edge of a serious nervous breakdown for several weeks, the Bishop has gone to Florida for his health. In Bryn Athyn, everyone was interested to hear that the two Miss Deltenres were with Barger; F. Pendleton hopes they will arrive safely in Bryn Athyn. With the War over, F. Pendleton hopes Barger’s son, Gerrit, will be able to make it home to Holland to see his family.
