Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Gerrit Barger, 1915-03-13
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Gerrit Barger in the Hague, Holland. Pendleton acknowledges receipt of Barger’s address which has now been turned over to Mr. Odhner who will write a report for the Life on Barger’s lectures in the Hague and Rotterdam. Barger has asked for a critique of the lecture, but Pendleton only wishes to express his appreciation; He regards it as a masterly presentation of the subject, well adapted to the general public. Mr. Alden tells Pendleton that Barger has found a way to communicate with Mr. (Ernst) Deltenre. Pendleton is worried because the newspapers are reporting horrible conditions in Belgium, and Deltenre and his family may be suffering great hardships.
