Pendleton has just read Baeckstrom’s last letter, which included an account of Baeckstrom’s successful missionary trip; Pendleton approves of Baeckstrom’s policy of linking isolated members to the Stockholm Society. Pendleton has returned to Bryn Athyn from his trip West (Pittsburgh, Chicago, Glenview, Denver) in time for Charter Day. Mr. Caldwell has published news from Baeckstrom’s report in the Life. Pendleton hopes to perhaps meet with Mr. Bronniche on his way through Copenhagen if he is ever able to make another trip to Europe. In Bryn Athyn, they are making plans for the Feb. ministers’ meetings and for the General Assembly which will be held in Kitchener this year. Tore (Loven) and Harriet (no surname given) are absorbed in their school activities at the Academy and are enjoying their work and relations.
