Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Gustaf Baeckström in Stockholm, Sweden. Pendleton acknowledges Baeckstrom’s letter of Sep. 6th. Pendleton tells Baeckstrom how much he and Mrs. (Beatrice) Pendleton enjoyed their recent trip to Sweden. Pendleton and his wife have just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary and have been gifted a beautiful set of table silverware by their friends. Tore (E. Loven) is now enrolled at the Academy; He is learning English quickly and fitting in with his classmates. Mrs. Ahlberg is happy to have him. Attendance is up in the schools this year with 23 or 24 new girls and a number of new boys as well. Pendleton will depart soon on his western trip to Pittsburgh, Chicago, and perhaps Cincinnati.
