Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Gustaf Baeckström in Stockholm, Sweden. Pendleton acknowledges Baeckstrom’s letter of Sept. 25th. Pendleton discusses the court case and the resulting scandalous rumors in Sweden. He believes that ultimately this experience will strengthen the Church and bring them together, as happened in Bryn Athyn with the Kramph Will case. Pendleton writes that ultimately it hardly matters how the case is decided, because Baeckstrom has the spiritual strength of Providence and a growing congregation behind him. Although he thinks it is probably not possible, Pendleton hopes that Baeckstrom and his wife will be able to attend the June Assembly in Glenview.
