Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Gustaf Baeckström in Stockholm, Sweden. Pendleton acknowledges Baeckstrom’s letters of May 9th, 15th, and 27th. The membership applications and records of baptism have been received, and Pendleton thinks the growth of the Stockholm Society must be a cause of rejoicing for the original circle of Academicians. Pendleton thinks the Society has Providence on their side, and he hopes that they will be able to establish a New Church School soon. Pendleton has just returned from the Canadian Assembly, and after the June 19th celebrations, he will travel to Pittsburgh. Mr. (William) Whitehead and Mr. Raymond Cranch will be ordained during the June 19th ceremonies.
