Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Gustaf Baeckström in Stockholm, Sweden. Pendleton acknowledges the letters received from Baeckstrom while Pendleton was travelling. Pendleton is pleased to hear of Baeckstrom’s success with his evangelization lectures in Sweden. The Board cannot afford to support both Mr. Svensson and his family, but if Mr. Svensson could arrange for his family to stay in Sweden, they would be delighted to have him come study Theology in Bryn Athyn. Svensson would receive the usual theological stipend during his study. If Mr. Loweberg is able to come to Bryn Athyn, Pendleton is sure they could arrange for his accommodation and he could study also. The General Assembly is approaching in Bryn Athyn and Pendleton wishes it were possible for Baeckstrom to attend.
