Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary, Freda Pendleton, to Rev. Gustaf Baeckström in Stockholm, Sweden. F. Pendleton acknowledges Baeckstrom’s letters to the Bishop of Jan. 8th and 31st and tells him that all letters to the Bishop (N.D. Pendleton) are currently being handled by the Bishop Emeritus (W.F. Pendleton) while the Bishop is away. F. Pendleton was sorry to hear that Baeckstrom and his family had the Spanish Influenza, and she hopes they are all recovered by now. N.D. Pendleton is currently sailing for South Africa after 10 days in England and will come back to the USA by way of Australia where he will visit the Sydney Circle. N.D. Pendleton will likely not be able to visit mainland Europe on this trip. The matters in Baeckstrom’s last letter will be considered by the Bishop Emeritus and the Consistory. General Church membership applications for Mrs. Lunden and Mr. I.K. Bromberg have been received and accepted.
