Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary, Freda Pendleton, to Rev. Gustaf Baeckström in Stockholm, Sweden. N.D. Pendleton has had to leave for Florida for a few weeks to prevent a serious nervous breakdown, and he asked F. Pendleton to acknowledge the receipt of Baeckstrom's reports of June 10th and 22nd and letter of Oct. 11th. F. Pendleton was concerned to hear that Baeckstrom had the Spanish Influenza; It has hit the USA very hard as well. With the war over, F. Pendleton hopes that conditions will improve in Sweden; Miss (Senta) Centervall has been very concerned about her mother.
