Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Gustaf Baeckström, 1918-03-27
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Gustaf Baeckström in Stockholm, Sweden. Pendleton acknowledges Baeckstrom’s letters of Nov. 16th and Jan. 5th. Pendleton is happy to receive Mr. Bromberg and his sons into the Church. Pendleton also notes that one of those recently baptized, Mr. Magnell, is a new convert. Raymond Pitcairn had forgotten about the situation with Mr. Bronnicke, but Pendleton has reminded him; Pendleton would like to know if anything has been done yet to relieve the situation. In Bryn Athyn, Rev. Carl Theophilus Odhner has passed away. Pendleton is reminded of the trip he hopes to take to Europe after the war. When he initially wrote to Baeckstrom about the trip, he had not thought the war would last this long.
