Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Karl R. Alden in Toronto, Canada. General Church letterhead. Copy attached. Pendleton acknowledges Alden's letter of May 8th. Pendleton discusses details of his travel plans to Canada and invites Alden to have lunch with him in Toronto before he leaves for Kitchener. Pendleton will read a paper at a gathering in Kitchener and travel back to Toronto the next morning for the Assembly meetings. Pendleton suggests that on the train ride back to Bryn Athyn together, Pendleton and Alden can discuss the prospects and needs regarding Alden's new position as Boy's School principal. Pendleton remarks that this year has presented many problems and difficulties, and he hopes the next year will be better.
