Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Karl R. Alden in Toronto, Canada. General Church letterhead. Typed copy attached on Olivet Society letterhead. Pendleton acknowledges Alden's letter of March 6th. Pendleton discusses the situation in Toronto; Pendleton will speak to the Toronto society at a later date, because if he comes now, nothing will be accomplished except a drawn out fight; Rudolph Potts has informed Pendleton that many in the Toronto Society believe Alden was called to Bryn Athyn as a disciplinary action agaist the society; The society should have a say in these matters, but it should not have the deciding voice. Pendleton then discusses the matter of removing a pastor from a society; The people should voice their dissatisfactions to the Bishop. Pendleton writes that in the case Alden is refering to, this was not doen until Mr. Craigie wrote to Pendleton.
