Pendleton discusses the situation in Toronto; Pendleton will speak to the Toronto society at a later date, because if he comes now, nothing will be accomplished except a drawn out fight; Rudolph Potts has informed Pendleton that many in the Toronto Society believe Alden was called to Bryn Athyn as a disciplinary action agaist the society; The society should have a say in these matters, but it should not have the deciding voice. Pendleton then discusses the matter of removing a pastor from a society; The people should voice their dissatisfactions to the Bishop. Pendleton writes that in the case Alden is refering to, this was not doen until Mr. Craigie wrote to Pendleton.
