Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Karl R. Alden, 1923-10-10
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Karl R. Alden in Toronto, Canada. General Church letterhead. Copy attached. In response to Alden's last letter, Pendleton expresses his appreciation of Alden's work in Toronto; "I feel that you are showing the way to the younger ministers at least in the matter of Society building." Pendleton is leaving for Pittsburgh in the afternoon. Reports from Pittsburg have been encouraging. Some young General Church men have recently moved there, and now Mr. Synnestvedt is feeling better about the future of the society. In addition, Alex Lindsay has "taken a vigorous hold" there.
