Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Karl R. Alden in Toronto, Canada. General Church letterhead. Copy attached. Pendleton has recveived Alden's encouraging report. Pendleton wonders if a missionary evening service, held the first Sunday of every month, would be more effective than a concentrated fall or spring sermon series. The Ontario Assembly will take place on May 24th. Theo (Pitcairn) is having trouble getting Eric Ridgway from South Africa into the USA; They have had to exercise the "highest power possible", and they do not know if he has been released yet. Pendleton has suggested that in the future, they land in Canada and enter the USA by "peaceful penetration".
