Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Karl R. Alden in Toronto, Canada. Pendleton thinks the first plan proposed for the Assembly is suitable: May 20th to 24th for the Assembly, 25th and 26th for the Toronto society. He must be back in Bryn Athyn on May 27th for his brother's (W.F. Pendleton) golden wedding anniversary. What Alden has written about Llewellyn (David?) fulfills Pendleton's best expectations, and is gratifying and encouraging. Pendleton writes that it will be a pleasure to comply with the request of the Executive Committee, provided Alden will arrange for the occasion. Pendleton is sorry about John Lemky, but the situatuion could not be helped. Two other boys are being sent home as well for fighting with the Faculty.
