Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary, Freda Pendleton, to Rev. Karl R. Alden in Toronto, Canada. The Bishop has gone to town and has asked F. Pendleton to send the lessons to Alden: 1st Kings 8:1-21, 1st Kings 8:22-53, and 1st Kings 8:54-61. These are usually read at a dedication. F. Pendleton will remind N.D. Pendleton to get off the train at Sunny Side; She hopes he will not forget. F. Pendleton hopes the meetings will go well. She wishes she could go, as she has friends in Toronto and has always liked it there. She received an invitation from her friend Mrs. Ray Brown, but she isn't able to accept. F. Pendleton's father (W.F. Pendleton) wants to write a letter to address his friends in the Toronto society, but has been busy writing the Thanksgiving sermon.
