Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Karl R. Alden's wife, 1921-06-01
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Karl R. Alden's wife, Ersa Alden, in Toronto, Canada. Pendleton writes that the wedding of Marion (Childs Pendleton?) has been accomplished, and now he has time to express his "very keen pleasure" at staying overnight in Toronto with Ersa and Karl (Alden). Pendleton gave a happy report of Ersa's circumstances to her mother. Pendleton is looking foreward to seeing Karl in Bryn Athyn for the ministers' meetings, and is sorry that Ersa cannot come with him. Pendleton writes that motherhood is "a loving and binding service service but one that repays ten fold in the end if not at the time."
