Letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary to Rev. Karl R. Alden, 1920-04-06
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary, Freda Pendleton, to Rev. Karl R. Alden in Philadephia, PA, USA. F. Pendleton gives Alden the numbers for the biblical passages which N.D. Pendleton will use for his Sunday sermon on the Glorification of the Lord. N.D. Pendleton would like Alden to read the lessons and assist him in administering Holy Supper. N.D. Pendleton's talk to the children will be about the Commandments, and Alden should read a lesson from Duet. ch. 30 to the children if he wishes. Unless plans change in the coming week, N.D. Pendleton will take the train and arrive at 1:45pm, and he would like Alden to meet him there. F. Pendleton hopes Alden's assembly will be successful. She is sorry that she cannot attend because she serves on the chancel on Sunday.
