Letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary to Rev. Elmo C. Acton, 1931-10-30
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary, Viola Wolcott Rennels, to Rev. Elmo C. Acton in Durban, Natal, South Africa. Rennels notes that Mr. and Mrs. Allaway and their son, along with Mr. Hubscher and Mr. Morgan, have all been baptized by Acton, yet no baptism cards have been received in the Bishop's office. Rennels asks Acton for signed baptismal cards at his earliest convenience, as it is her job to keep accurate statistical records for the General Church. Rennels informs Acton that she has sent him annual report blanks, and urges him to have them filled out and in the mail by the end of December so that they can be incorporated into the report of the Secretary of the Council of the Clergy.
