Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary, Viola Wolcott Rennels, to Rev. Elmo C. Acton in Durban, Natal, South Africa. Rennels writes that in the "New Church Open Letter", she learned that Acton baptized Miss Miriam Bretherton, Mr. Douglas G. Macfarlane, Audrey E. Lowe, and Sonia D. Pemberton several months ago. The Bishop's office has not recieved any records of these baptisms, and they should be sent at Acton's earliest convenience. Rennels had informed Rev. (William B.) Caldwell, and Caldwell will publish the baptisms in the next issue of New Church Life. In the future, Rennels would like Acton to send records at the time of the ceremony. Rennels encloses some blank baptism cards.
