Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Elmo C. Acton in Durban, Natal, South Africa. Pendleton acknowledges Acton's letter of August 24th and says that he has not responded until now because his answer to Acton's question about the dedication of the hall would not have arrived in time. Acton's judgement about dedication was correct: "the dedication should have in view the immediate uses to be served." Pendleton wants to hold the next General Assembly in London, July 1928. Pendleton is hoping there will be a delegation from the Durban Society, and that Acton can be ordained into the second degree of the priesthood. Pendleton is also glad to hear that Kenneth's (no surname given) health is improving.
