Scope and Contents
Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Alfred Acton in Glenview, IL. Pendleton has recieved the minutes of the twelfth meeting of the General Council. He notes with interest the School's effort to "provide a social life peculiar to itself." There is good news from Baltimore, and Pendleton writes the Fred (Gyllenhaal?) should be encouraged in every way. The list of General Church members and their addresses which has recently been published in the Journal is useful, and Pendleton hopes that someday they will have a New Church "Directory". Letter closes by saying they have received "much benefit" from the Bishop's recent visit.
