Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Alfred Acton, 1929-04-08
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Alfred Acton in Sweden. Pendleton acknowledges Acton's letter of March 10th and card. Acton wants to purchase two volumes of Suetonius signed by Swedenborg, but Pendleton writes that he already gave Acton an answer about this matter in a previous letter. Pendleton reports that the price of New Church Life for foreign members has been reduced to $3, and that he has sent Acton's translation of Adversaria to Upsala University. Vincent (Odhner?) has not been reemployed for the next year because of his poor teaching record. He has found another position and left before the end of the school year.
