Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Alfred Acton. Pendleton wants to grant Acton's request for leave of absence from teaching. After consultation with heads of college and seminary school, Miss (Rita) Buel is able to accomodate the request, but there is resistance from Mr. Iungerich, partly due to Theo (Pitcairn)'s absence.
