Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Waelchli in Wyoming, Ohio, USA. Two copies, one on General Church of the New Jerusalem letterhead. Pendleton sees from Waelchli’s report that the Middleport group continues to persevere. Later in the day, Pendleton plans to attend the funeral of one of the oldest members of the Middleport circle, Mrs. James Cooper. The next day they will have another funeral, this one for Miss Annie Moir who recently passed away in Atlantic City. Pendleton has caught word of “whisperings” in Detroit, and it has been reported in Bryn Athyn that Mrs. Beals, unlike her husband, is much opposed to the General Church.
