Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Waelchli, 1928-01-03
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Waelchli in Wyoming, Ohio, USA. 2 Copies, one with General Church of the New Jerusalem letterhead. Pendleton has received Waelchli’s report for the midyear meetings along with his letters of November 15th and 24th. Pendleton has been behind on his correspondence since he, along with many others in Bryn Athyn, came down with influenza. He is now recuperating and hopes to be in good health for the February meetings. Pendleton appreciates Waelchli’s dream for the Walla Walla and Spokane circles. He feels that while the Church grows slowly, they must have patience and maintain confidence in a successful end. Pendleton hopes Waelchli will be able to make another trip out West next summer to visit Henry Boef and the Los Angles Society. He knows traveling is hard on Waelchli; He writes, “We older fellows must keep on going for yet a while.” Names mentioned: George (De Charms), Henry (Boef)
