Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Waelchli, 1928-03-06
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Waelchli in Wyoming, Ohio, USA. Pendleton read aloud Waelchli’s letter of February 28th at a recent meeting of the Executive Committee where they considered the idea of stationing a minister in Los Angeles. The Committee felt it would be appropriate for the Los Angeles community to make an official statement to the General Church regarding their need for a minster. Pendleton suggests that the General Church could provide a board and lodging salary while the Los Angeles people give the worship offerings. No final decisions could be arrived at because Church affairs are in such a state of flux, so Pendleton will wait until the May meeting before making a definite recommendation.
