Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Waelchli, 1926-11-23
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Waelchli in Wyoming, Ohio, USA. Pendleton has received Waelchli’s letters of November 16th and 17th. Pendleton writes that the Consistory meeting will be held on Monday afternoon, preceding the regular meetings. Regarding Waelchli’s proposed winter trip to the South, Pendleton had imagined a shorter trip than Waelchli suggests, but he leaves the arrangements to Waelchli. If he decides to make the journey, Pendleton thinks Waelchli should write to Gilbert (Smith) about the Windsor-Detroit visit. Pendleton adds a handwritten message in postscript, noting that the Academy has given E. S. P. a year off and commenting that the “old fellows are getting a bit tired.” Name mentioned: Gilbert (Smith?), E. S. P. (Enoch S. Price?)
