Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Waelchli, 1926-11-15
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Waelchli in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Pendleton has received Waelchli’s letter of November 10th. He is interested in Waelchli’s report of conditions in Windsor, Detroit, Erie, and Kitchener. He is moved by the state of the Kitchener society and wishes he could help but feels that “the way is not yet open.” The Executive Committee recently considered Waelchli’s proposed trip south, and a suggestion was made that the trip be abbreviated, with stops only in Jacksonville, St. Petersburgh, and Maimi. Pendleton writes, “There are signs on the horizon that we may be called upon in the future to give special attention to the possibilities of Church development in Miami.” Pendleton hopes Waelchli will examine conditions in Maimi with a view to future development.
