Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Waelchli, 1925-12-16
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Waelchli. Regarding Waelchli’s proposed trip South, Pendleton thinks they should do what they did last year, i.e. make preliminary arrangements pending a final decision later. Pendleton does not see any prospects for the Church in Valdosta, but he thinks Waelchli should give them some information regarding his proposed trip and then “let Providence guide.” Pendleton notes that Marion and Alan are not in Columbus, but are actually stationed in Plattsburgh, New York. Goerge DeCharms is now in better health, but they are still trying to prevent him from any strain. They have cabled Theodore Pitcairn to return to Bryn Athyn to help. He is due to arrive in mid-January. Names mentioned: Marion (Marion Childs Pendleton), Alan (Oriel Alan Pendleton), George DeCharms, Thoedore Pitcairn
