Cheminat: Cheminat runs Institution in French style w/ severe restrictions & regulations (e.g. reads girls’ letters, won’t let them go outside alone, etc.), Pitcairn considers Institution merely boarding house where she & nieces take a few lessons; Pitcairn indignant that Cheminat has expressed some interest in New Church doctrines but persists in moral failings (dishonesty, selfishness, etc.)
