-Maria sat in rear train car with “the Boy”; left with eyes bright & face beaming
-very sorry not to be joining Maria on upcoming visit to Starkeys in Philadelphia
-sorry to hear Starkey family has been sick with the chills
-happy to hear that Doctor has returned & Mrs. B. (Burnham?) will be with them soon; happy that Academy meetings have commenced
-travel plans involving Mr. Pitcairn; Pittsburgh people will miss him
-Sunday social event at the Nest (Oaknest); Mary & Maria invited earlier than rest of “saints”, has glasses of “tod” while Maria read letter from Bishop; others (Capt., Mrs., Dr. C., & Mrs. Burns) arrived later, went up for a good swing & made toasts
-dislikes that Childs throws parties at Oaknest involving worldly / Old Church people
-love & remembrances to all
