-if externals made internals, Ballou’s spiritual regeneration would be quite advanced at his current celestial altitude, and he would make everyone come visit him
-wonders if New Church people picture cold & ragged crags when reading about celestial angels living on the mountains; has seen many beautiful places in Colorado mountains that are reminiscent of the banks of the Susquehanna River
