Handwritten letter from Pauline "Paul" Starkey Wells in Woodside, CA. Addressed to “My darling sister,” possibly Gertrude Starkey Pitcairn. Letter cuts off mid-sentence, appears to be missing pages.

-Paul happy to receive letter from home
-wishes she could have been with sister at Wallace St. for Christmas, but had jolly time in CA
-sister must have looked like an angel in winter suit / dress, but why did they want her to be in a “Dream of Fair Women”?
-did sister see Booth in Richard II or Richard III?
-David can’t understand Swedenborg; will sister send copies of New Church Messenger?
-New Year’s celebration in CA: stayed up until midnight, David threw 6 lit firecrackers under White’s bed, Addie rang dinner bell
-Mrs. Dawley is very nice Christan woman
-Aunt Em likes to hear Paul practice piano & wishes Addie could play as well as Paul
-thanks for the “boofer lady”
