Handwritten letter from Dr. George R. Starkey in Washington, D. C. to his wife, Caira Skelton Starkey. “G. R. Starkey, M. D.” letterhead.

Contents: -Starkey thwarted from going to church, writing instead, will take walk later -soon they will all be together on Sundays -is Caira feeling better? does she still have heart & arm pain? -Starkey copying Pendleton’s thought-provoking sermon on gates of hell to share with others -hopes Caira can attend Dr. Tuller’s class & gain spiritual nourishment; grateful that he looks after family -Starkey nearly recovered from cold -Pegasus has not kicked up again
