Handwritten U.S. Postal Card from Dr. George R. Starkey in Washington, D.C. to his daughter, Gertrude Starkey Pitcairn in Vineland, N. J. Starkey inquiries about Halloween. He hopes they all had a good time and he wonders if Cara’s and Dora’s peanuts held out. He hasn’t “got reconciled” yet to the short stay he had at home, and he doesn’t think he ever will because it doesn’t seem as if he had been home at all.
