Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. September 25th, no year. Pendleton is looking forward to W.F.P.’s upcoming visit to Pittsburgh. He asks W.F.P. to inform him of the dates as soon as possible since there is talk of planning a banquet during his visit. Pendleton reports that the Committee is preparing to meet next week for the first time since the spring.

Pendleton does not like the idea of being away from his family, but he writes, “I take it that a man should do what he can, especially in a work of such surpassing importance as I conceive Miss Beekman’s work to be.” He agrees to spend the month of August working with Beekman in Bryn Athyn. Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. No Date. Possibly 1911? Professor Esqueree’s test of Pendleton’s urine revealed no signs of kidney disease, but did indicate inflammation of the lower intestine. Pendleton is happy to have his symptoms explained and to know that he is not suffering from kidney disease as he feared. Pendleton asks W.F.P. to inform Louis of the contents of this letter.
