Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Emil R. Cronlund in Toronto, Canada. Pendleton informs Cronlund that Theodore Pitcairn will now be coming with him to Toronto. Pendleton hopes Cronlund will be able to find someone to host him. Pendleton is pleased that John Pitcairn’s children are so interested in the work of the Church.

Pendleton to express his sympathy for Fercken’s difficulties brought on by the war in Europe. Mr. (Eldred) Iungerich and company have safely arrived back in Bryn Athyn. Mr. (John?) Pitcairn remains in London, hoping to establish communication with Mr. (Ernst) Deltenre in Brussels and with his glass works in Belgium....

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. John Headsten in Chicago, IL, USA. Pendleton has received Headsten’s letter of July 25th. Pendleton is interested in Headsten’s experiences in Kibbie, MI, and approves of Headsten’s desire to investigate further; Pendleton thinks it is possible that Providence is guiding them to set up another church society there. Pendleton informs Headsten of Mr. (John) Pitcairn’s death and writes that they will all miss him greatly.
