Handwritten memorandum from A. & S. Wilson in Pittsburgh to John Pitcairn, Jr. 5 cent George Washington Stamp in upper left corner.
A. & S. Wilson will build a house for J Pitcairn in Shady Side. It will be the same at the house they built for Thomas Gamble, but with several alterations. $6,500 is still to be paid- $3,000 when the roof is on, and the rest when the house is finished. Pitcairn will furnish the plumbing, gas fittings, and mantles.
